About Us:

QuiXand is Susan Heiniger and family, a hobby breeder and exhibitor of performance-bred whippets located in southwestern Washington state. We specialize in healthy, sound, well-socialized whippets that will make wonderful pets and companions, as well as have the potential to be competitive on the sprint and oval track and in lure coursing and open field coursing.

Our pups are raised in a family household and all of our dogs are indoor pets first and foremost. Their real passion, however, is running! They live to get into the van and head out for a weekend of racing or coursing, and there is nothing more exciting to me than seeing a finely-tuned canine athlete doing what it was bred to do.
